Our client, one of the leading offshore Engineering and Fabrication Company, operating a marine fabrication yard in Batam, is inviting applications from suitably qualified INDONESIAN candidates to fill in a vacancy at Batam for:
A. CERTIFIED WELDING INSPECTOR ( Job Code: JMCD – CWI )
B. MATERIAL INSPECTOR ( Job Code: JMCD – MIP )
Requirements:
• Shall be certified as WELDING INSPECTOR through CSWIP 3.1, / or B4T. ( A )
• Diploma in Engineering is preferred, but not essential. (A, B )
• Having at least 4 years of experience in similar work / position. (A) is preferred.
• 5 years work experience would suffice for materials receiving inspectors.(B)
• Should be able to work as part of a team. ( A, B )
• Familiarity with international codes / standard is essential. ( A, B )
• Knowledge of all quality Control activities associated with Structural/ Piping weld Procedure Development and workscopes execution ( A)
• Ability to read Design and shop drawings (A)
• Understand contents of Material/Equipment certificates (B) & OS&D systems.
• Computer literate – Excel-Word (A&B)
Essentials job duties:
• Perform fitting/welding assessments and in-process (A) yard inspection activities for all ongoing projects
• Daily material/ equipment receiving Inspections (B) and controls.
• Maintaining a robust cross checking & monitoring on production floor.
• Assuring that CARs /NCRs & preventive actions are attended to, on time with appropriate resolution..
• Prepare timely inspection reports & documentation on a daily basis.
C. TEKLA DESIGNER ( Job Code: JMCD – TKD )
Requirements:
• Minimum Senior High School or posses relevant knowledge/technical skill
• Has minimum 4 years working experience as Tekla designer, major exposure on oil and gas industry
• Good command of English spoken & written
• Strong use of TEKLA X-Steel latest version (version 18)
• Experience reading and interpreting Structural Design Drawings and knowledge of standard construction practices
D. PLANNER ( Job Code: JMCD – PLN )
Requirements:
• Needs to communicate well
• Confident
• Good experience in using primavera
• Good experience in Oil and Gas Industry
• Needs to understand the oil n gas business
• Needs to have a good knowledge of progress reporting model and should demonstrate experience in same
• Needs to have good knowledge in forecasting and should demonstrate experience in same
E. PRODUCTION ENGINEERS
E.1. STRUCTURAL [ Job Code: JMCD - PE-S ]
E.2. PIPING [ Job Code: JMCD - PE-PI ]
Job Duties & Requirement:
• Review project documents including scope of work, project specifications and drawings
• Provide shop drawing priority list and constructability information
• Prepare field instructions, material purchase lists, construction punch lists, etc.
• Resolve fabrication problems with the fabrication personnel, engineering office, vendors and clients, etc.
• Monitor and report the project progress
• Engineering degree from a reputable University
• Engineers with minimum 2 years of experience in offshore construction industry are preferred, however relevant experience in Shipbuilding and Petrochemical industries will also be considered OR Fresh Graduate
• Excellent command in English communication skills, both oral and written
• Willing to work in a fabrication/construction environment and willing to be placed in Batam
