Overview
Software Engineers will create services to solve our technical problems, and develop world-class applications atop our platform.
As part of PT. Jejala Pararta International, you will also involve in many online projects as well.
Typical challenges include:
- Optimizing our system at the application, client, and infrastructure level to deliver results with minimum latency
- Applying machine learning to our data set to help our users better discover beautiful photographs
- Developing algorithms to improve a photograph's Pulse, based on large numbers of votes and favorites, in real-time
- Architecting our real-time search system to deliver the most relevant results rapidly
- Working with UI/UX Designers to fuse industrial-grade backend services with world-class UIs
Essential Requirements
- A proven works of creating online media using PHP on top of Linux, Apache and MySQL environment
- Excellent skill in PHP programming, including all PHP extensions.
- Strong knowledge in webservice concept and familiar in using any open
social media webservice, such as google API, Facebook API, etc
- A good vision in building web 2.0
- Ability to own a project from inception to completion (and beyond)
- Consider yourself a very detailed and quality oriented person
Bonus points
- Ability to code your designs using standard HTML and CSS
- Strong knowledge on UI JavaScript library such as JQuery and Mootools (including implementing plugins)
- Extensive knowledge about Linux, Apache and MySQL optimization
- Works in orderly manner and able to create project scheduling/target timeframe
