Vacancy : OSH assistance specialist @ Lloyd's Register - Jakarta.



Please be informed,there is vacancy for 1 (one) person as an OSH assistance specialist in Lloyd's Register - Jakarta.
Qualification :
1.Degree in Engineering (S-1) with min 2-years working experiences
2.Familiar with implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH)
3.Preferably base in Jakarta.
4.English is a MUST
5.Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities


A
To carry out technical inspections/ assessments against defined specifications/ scope that include budget constraints and contractual requirements.
B
Maintaining a competent OSH organisation/support structure in accordance with safety team requirements and commensurate with the OSH risk, and needs of the area
C
Demonstrating a positive attitude towards OSH and the right way of doing things in order to positively influence people and set an example for them to follow
D
Consulting with employees, to identify local OSH hazards and to understand the risk they represent through the encouragement of incident reporting and trend analysis
E
Actively participating and leading OSH initiatives (in addition to routine OSH inspections and audits) to raise awareness - acting as the focal point for OSH effort
F
Consulting with employees and communicating within the Safety Team (ST) to establish common OSH risk control strategies
G
Contributing to the effectiveness of the ST by communicating the ST message and providing feedback into the ST at every opportunity
H
Understanding and ensuring that applicable national/local OSH legislation is complied with and advising the ST of differences in order that optimum practice can be applied across the Group
I
Planning/coordinating and conducting OSH training for managers, employees, visitors and contractors in OSH subject matter that reflects the OSH risk of the location (including that required by local legislation). May be delivered by an external provider where appropriate
J
Acting as the lead investigator when appointed by the ST of OSH related incidents and to draft and submit a formal incident report (incorporating root cause analysis) through the ST
K
Providing input to the monthly ST report and submitting information for inclusion in the ST newsletter and other ST literature
L
Establishing a working relationship with key (moderate and high risk) third party sites on which our employees work
M
Establishing and/or supporting OSH Forums/meetings with ST members and key people and publishing OSH related minutes on the ST pages of the Hub
N
Working with and supporting local management (including attending managerial meetings) in order to raise and reinforce the profile of OSH risk
O
Where agreed and authorised, undertaking ST tasks/projects to improve the ST service and the management of OSH risk within Lloyd's Register
P
To monitor the quarterly office inspection programme, ensuring prompt corrective and preventive actions are taken
