| The position
- The Senior Pipeline Inspector is a part of the Pipeline Construction Supervision and Inspection Team .
- He reports to the Company Site Representative.
- He coordinates and plans the activities in all construction inspection activities in welding, NDE, testing, coating and painting.
- He is in charge of welding procedures and welders qualifications, independent quality integrity verification and documentation (test packs and quality plans) reviews and approval.
- He supervises the X-ray interpretation by the Contractor and carry out interpretation when required.
Key skills
- Education in a technical discipline, welding, and non-destructive testing.
- Valid Senior Pipeline Inspectors qualification, ERS or a CSWIP Senior Welding qualification with additional qualifications in coating, painting.
- Experience in other associated fields related to pipeline construction, i.e. rock blasting, coating, CP, hydro-testing, commissioning are a requirement.
- At least have 10 years relevant experience in pipeline. Previous experience in this position.
