MARINE PROJECT COORDINATOR (MPC)
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Organize and conduct monitoring programs to assess and report the status of Contractors Marine performance during the lifecycle of the designated project
- In coordination with DWL/MAR ensure contractor's Marine spread conformity with national and local Marine regulations. Monitor compliance with Company Marine procedures, issuance of Inspection Release Certificate and Marine Permit on Company Sites on design project.
- Perform regular contractor's vessels and equipments safety inspection
- Advise and assist Project & Line Management, Superintendent and Supervisor concerning Marine HSE issues to ensure project activities and personnel operate within Company policies
- Review and comment on project procedures and ensure adequate risk assessment requirements have been carried out.
- Motivate line management and main contractors to hold HSE in the highest priority and to advance the development of a positive HSE culture, including improvements in Safety Behavior.
Requirements :
- Min. 10 years experience in a similar position
- Evidence of appropriate formal training in key activities noted above
- Extensive knowledge of Marine Operation and Project Activities including SIMOPS, Construction, Pipe Laying, Hook Up activities as well as a good understanding of production operations (live process plant and the hazard associated with this)
- Previous experience of overseas posting, experience in Asia would be an advantage
- Good interpersonal skill, well organized, good written and oral communication skill including English language and computer literacy
- Ability to work on his/her own initiative but function as an integral part of a team
- Flexible and proactive approach
