Our client, a Canadian leading global engineering consulting company involved in providing a full range of technology-driven, value adding solutions and services to clients in the mining, minerals, metallurgical, manufacturing, infrastructure, transportation and energy sectors is urgently required:
ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE OFFICER (Jakarta based)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with interfacing between client and project teams on project environmental and social issues
- Assisting with environmental and social impact assessment
- Reviewing project environmental permitting requirements
- Providing advice to project and engineering teams on potential project impacts due to environmental or social issues
- Assisting project and engineering teams with process optimization to reduce environmental and social impacts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Language proficiency in both English and Indonesia
- Undergraduate degree in Environmental or Social Science, or Engineering with Post Graduate Environmental Qualifications
- Environmental or Engineering background, but good working knowledge of both
- Minimum 3 years working experience
- Professional experience obtained within a regulatory authority will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of the Mining industry is preferred but experience in the Energy or Infrastructure sectors will be well regarded
