SOCIOECONOMIC MONITORING REPORTING ADVISOR
JOB FUNCTION : Developing and Implementing methods and procedures related to the Banyu Urip Project's Socioeconomic program, evaluating and revieweng the socioeconomic program in view of approved AMDAL, RPL, and RKL documents, providing advice and preparing monitoring reports on the implementation and performance of the socioeconomic program to ensure compliance with requirements/obligations appearing in applicable legislative documents.
RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES
1. Indentify and verity project applicable socioeconomic requirements / obligations appearing in the approved AMDAL, RPL and RKL documents and applicables legislative documents (e.g. ,laws, regulations, decrees and decisions)
2. Plan and coordinate a socioeconomic assessment of the project field area to verify information / data appearing in the AMDAL and update the information / data as necessary
3. Develop socioeconomics procedures and methods to be incorporated into the project's Enviromental and Socioeconomics Management Manual (ESMM) and other appropriate project documents.
4. Monitor the implementation of socioeconomics procedures and/or standars in order to ensure that they comply with company policies, the approved AMDAL, RPL, and RKL documents, and applicable regulatory requirements / obligations.
5. Devise a monitoring report format and schedule for the project's socioeconomic program and communicate these to the PMT and other appropriate project-associated parties.
6. As necessary, interface with the EMDC Functional organization regarding the project's socioeconomic program implementation and performance
7. Collect and analyze primary and secondary socioeconomic data, identify trends and communicate the result to management and other appropriate involved parties.
8. Provide socioeconomic input and advice to the PMT as well as to the project's Contractors
9. Facilitate socioeconomic compliance assessments at the direction of the Development Manager / Senior Project Manager
10. Oversee the effort to obtain required perits/license /approvals related to socioeconomics project / program in coordination with the project's regulatory group
11. Provide advice regarding project-associated socioeconomic programs/initiatives or community events conducted by the govenrment, NGOs, and other institutions in the project area
12. Participate in the preparation of the UPL/UKL studies related to socioeconomic topics
13. Prepare socioeconomic compliance status and permit / license / approval stewardship documents for review
14. Ensure coordination with the (EMOI) Public Affairs (PA) group regarding the implementation of community development programs and initiatives in the project area
15. Assist in the implementation and management of OIMS processes and procedures concerning socioeconomic requirements.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES :
Education : Bachelor Degree, Degree Major : Social scientist (e.e., anthropologist, sociologist) is preferable
Languange skills : English and Bahasa Indonesia and Experience : 3-5 years (preferably in the natural resources oil&gas , minning)
Technical skills :
Working knowledge of the AMDAL process particularly as it relates to socioeconomics studies, planning
Program creation and implementation, socioeconomic monitoring, and performance reporting
Working knowledge in the areas of health and the environment and Excellent computer skills including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Excell, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Power Point.
